Ten years ago, we could estimate traffic to pages in three Google organic positions based on the keyword search volume. Already. Operation is much more difficult to predict due to new search features and dynamic overviews of AI.
In addition, the impact of keywords is predictable because celebrities use voice search and generative AI.
Therefore, many optimizers of professional search claims that keyword research makes no sense.
That’s wrong.
The benefits of keyword research are greater than the evaluation of organic search. It reveals where the prospects are on the day of purchase and what they know about the topic.
For example:
- Consumers investigating topic or problem are likely to use general keywords. It is less likely that they will be transferred immediately, but the chance will improve if it discovers your brand or product.
